Amy Jensen PMHNP-BC
I have been a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2009 and I am Board Certified by ANCC, am EMDR trained and have worked in mental health since 2000.
I take the whole person into account when dealing with mental health. I specialize in concierge psychiatric services to adults with chronic and acute mental health concerns such as depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, personality disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, anxiety and I have a subspecialty in adults with developmental disabilities and autism. I provide a thorough and ongoing evaluation of previous and current symptoms along with current stressors and work with each person towards their individualized goal of treatment, whether that is via medication management or therapy/counseling or a combination of both. Some of my favorite populations to work with are peri/post partum, those experiencing or recovering from narcissistic abuse and those experiencing psychosis.
Humor is a big part of my life. I try to find the small things that can make me laugh and share those with you when appropriate. I have no problem laughing at myself when I do something silly and I hope to be able to share that with you. I aim to be as authentically myself with you as I hope you are with me. Building trust in professional relationships does not stop there….it helps you build bridges to a healthier you in other relationships in your life as well. So bring your real, sarcastic, shy, silly, anxious, tumultuous self and let’s work together to be the best version of ourselves that we can. (And P.S. you don’t have to apologize for 4 letter words….I’m pretty sure I’ve heard them all in my 24 years in mental health and I have been known to drop a few of those words in session myself!)
If you are desiring to take a more holistic approach, I also can provide suggestions for supplements that can enhance mental and whole person wellbeing (and clients gets 15% discount through Fullscripts if they choose)
Amy currently offers psychiatric services through telehealth for individuals in California, Oregon or Arizona.

Practice Style/Managing Expectations
Please note that pharmacotherapy may or may not be clinically appropriate or recommended for your issues and condition(s). We do not guarantee that we will continue or refill any medications that is clinically unsafe or harmful for your condition, especially on a first visit and/or if there has been acute changes. If you have more than one prescriber at the same time, or have recently had several different doctors we will need to discuss to better understand why.
Please note with current DEA requirements for telehealth only appointments, controlled medications are limited and there is a requirement to be seen in person by the prescribing provider prior to the end of December 2024.
Your safety and overall health are our priority. Clients who are in treatment with our practice are receiving care voluntarily, agree to be adherent to treatment plans, and should be stable enough to receive care in an outpatient telehealth setting. If you are in need of acute treatment services or other treatments that are outside the scope of our small practice, license, and clinical expertise - we will recommend that you get the necessary care to better accommodate your needs.
If your symptoms are severe or life-threatening, please get help now. If your condition becomes unstable, medically complex beyond my scope of practice, or could benefit from a specialist setting or meeting with a different provider, we will be transparent and recommend transferring care so you could get the best care possible.
YOU and your overall health are important to us!
